Noted for: Black Sand Beaches, Surfing, Batu Bolong beach for beginners and Echo Beach for the more experienced surfers.
Vibe: The Canggu area has attracted many Creative types, Digital Nomads, Surfers and Expats. It is more lay back and casual than you would find in places like Ubud. Canggu has a focus on the fitness life style, Yoga and wellness retreats than many other areas with Digital Nomads also being attracted.
While visiting Canggu be prepared for constant heavy traffic, narrow roads, and busy crowed areas.
